If you are not on of the "good 'ole boys"...go somewhere else. I purchased a new set of spark plug wires and spark plugs on 12/29/15 from the Auto Zone on Remount Road. I took them here to have them installed. I just recently started having issues with car lurching and hesitating under normal acceleration. Dropped the car off to them 5/31/2016 to have the issue diagnosed. Receive a call within 30 minutes from one of their neck-down's saying "nothing is wrong with the car" "i couldn't pull any codes from it". So I pick it up later that afternoon and it is running worse with the check engine light flashing. Limped it to work the following day where a colleague of mine had a portable code reader. The ECM was throwing P0303, cylinder 3 misfire. So I stooped down and discovered the spark plug wire hanging off the spark plug. I plugged the wire in and the car started and ran without issue. About a week later the car started the doing the same thing. As I was checking the #3 spark plug wire I noticed it wasn't the same as the two other wires. These crooks never changed the wire to the new one!!! What makes matters worse is when I went to pick it up after the wires/plugs were supposed to be changed the owner commented that "you can't get that #3 plug without a special tool because of the steering shaft in the way". Ten minutes on YouTube and the "special tool" is nothing more than a swivel socket. Stay away from these crooks unless you are Berkeley County/Hanahan blue blood!! If you do go utilize them for their services, make them show you what they did before you leave. Don't just pay your money and go expecting them to be honest and above board.
